Brief: Collectively Natahile and I invented the concept of a digital subscription service. The goal with our project was to create an idea, develop the concept and then to produce and design the visual identity.

Solution: Etui is a service that provides you with your everyday basics directly to your door. You create a subscription and determines what products you will get every month. You will receive the products you choose in the rate you decide. Our goal with this subscription service is to help you as a consumer to have a good sustainable consumption that makes your everyday life more relaxed. We believe that you should never buy more then you need. With the help of Etui, you know that all our products are reliable, good for the planet and your wallet. An Etui by you, for you.

The idé

The problem

 

In today's society, we consume a lot of different beauty products, everything from toothpaste to intimate wash. We need them in our everyday life and a lot of us swear by them. The demand for high-quality products that you can buy with a good conscience has increased. The customer doesn't want to contribute to animal cruelty and requires that the products are vegan and so forth. The consumer wants all this but without going broke.

 

In a study, we prepared we found that: As a customer have all of these demands and wishes but when we finish a product they usually go for the classic supermarket version. This is because it's less timeconsuming.

Today some stores and brand have started to sell their products online but you still need to remember to buy them. There are subscription boxes that deliver your products every month but they don't give you the freedom to choose your products. We find this very outdated.

In a study we did 67% of the participants said that they want to buy vegan products but that they rarely do.

 

Our solution

We wanted to create a service that helps you in your everyday life. That promise you as a customer and user that all of the products you will receive is the best on the market. If there would be some products that don't fulfil every requirement, we as a company will explain to you why. We want to be transparent. The idé is that we take this outdated subscription box and give you the power to make it your own.

The flow of choosing a package.

I started to plan out what the website needed when it comes to functions, information and web flow.

We determined that for the service to work we needed to have a website. Which both gave the customer information about what Etui stands for and also what type of products and the different packages there are.

First out we started to plan how the customer would be able to choose our different sets and packages within the category.

What’s in your package

What is necessary to showcase on the page for each product and package?

We wanted a simple design that's easy to understand. A design that shows the different product what it contains and its usage. We also wanted the ¨add the package to your subscription¨ button to be in focus.

When you continue to scroll down the page there would be suggestions of other packages. Both in the same category or in a completely different category.

Log in

When you choose a package you will get the option to log in. This is because everything is tailored for your way of using and finishing different products. When you logged in the calendar pops up. This is where the customer has an overview of the subscriptions and the dates the packages arrive.

How we communicate

 

“För oss är det viktigt att alla våra produkter är veganska, cruelty-free, ekologiska, samt att produktionen sker i Sverige eller i närheten.  Är det någon av våra produkter som inte håller den höga ribba vi satt - är vi tydliga med vad och varför.”
